Youth Financial Literacy

Blue Water Community Action began offering a Financial Education Program for Youth ages 14-1. We are excited to continue this program today with funding from the United Way of St. Clair County and the Port Huron Rotary Club. This program will be free to all participants. It is a series of 2 - 4 hour classes that are based on the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) curriculum. This program will teach the Youth how to Budget, the Importance of Saving, Preparing for Education and Career, understanding and building Credit, and many other financial topics.
